Aljazeera reports, that "Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has asked parliament to extend his medical leave, deepening suspicions that his health is far worse than officials are publicly admitting.

Aljazeera reporter detained by Egyptian authorities for allegedly broadcasting false news against state institutions

An Aljazeera journalist Mahmoud Hussein, who is an Egyptian national has been detained by the high authorities of Egypt and subjected to intensive investigation. His arrest was made on December 20, after he arrived in Egypt for a holiday. 
Charges placed against him by the Egyptian interior ministry includes "incitement against state institutions and broadcasting false news with the aim of spreading chaos".
