Nigeria: Mother Poisons Daughter Who Was Raped & Impregnated By Her Father To Cover Up His Crime

A woman in Nassarawa State in Nigeria has poisoned her own 13-year old daughter, who was raped and impregnated by her father (her own husband).
She was poisoned by her mom and was later rushed to the hospital by people where she was saved.

A twitter user who works at Nasarawa State hospital where she is currently receiving treatment took to the platform to ask for justice for the poor little girl, saying if she doesn’t cry out, the matter might be treated as a family matter and she won’t get justice. Her parents have now been arrested.

"Please someone should refer me to a humanitarian (legal) personnel willing to take up a case of a young girl, age 13 raped and impregnated by her father and poisoned to die by her mother to cover up for the shame in Nasarawa local government area of Nasarawa State.

Alhamdulillah the girl survived but lost the baby. She is currently in our General hospital here and both parent of hers have been arrested. My fear is that this girl will not get justice as it will be looked at as family issue which is why I am reaching out. Evil is human", the twitter user wrote.
