The Dubai government through its ancillary arm, Dubai Municipality is feeding its nationals and residents for free during theRamadan period.
30 fridges have been stocked with food ranging from snacks, juices, across 22 of the city’s park.
A total of 80 fridges on the other have been placed close to mosques where food and surpluses could be donated.
This initiative is to keep commuters via these business areas and parks refreshed after the break of fast (iftar).
It is also part of the UAE’S Food Bank initiative which was launched in January by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
