World’s number one football player and Real Madrid superstar Christiano Ronaldo could possibly face 5 years in prison after if found guilty of defrauding the Spanish tax authorities of 14.7million Euros.

Spain’s prosecutor’s office in Madrid have filed a tax fraud lawsuit against the Portuguese ace for failing to pay his tax returns of 14.7m euros (£13m; $16m) from 2011 to 2014.

In a statement, the prosecutor's office said Ronaldo had knowingly used a "business structure" created in 2010 to hide his income in Spain from his image rights.
