Photographed by Nick Knight and styled by the magazine’s editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, the cover features Rihanna dressed in hot pink Prada tulle, neon orange gloves and an elaborate floral headpiece by Makoto Azuma.
Marlene Dietrich-esque skinny brows and a deep, dark blackberry lip color courtesy of the star’s own Fenty Beauty range round out the look.
Inside the issue, the pop phenom sports a series of other floral-inspired looks, including a pink ruffled Alexander McQueen jacket and a black blossom-adorned dress by Noir Kei Ninomiya.
“I always knew it had to be Rihanna,” Enninful said in his editor’s letter. “A fearless music-industry icon and businesswoman, when it comes to that potent mix of fashion and celebrity, nobody does it quite like her.
