John Brooks sidelined with hip muscle injuryThe U.S. international defender could miss multiple games down the stretch for Hertha Berlin.

Hertha Berlin center back John Brooks will be out "for the time being" with a hip muscle injury. 
The U.S. international suffered the injury in Saturday's Bundesliga win over Wolfsburg, a game in which Brooks played the full 90 minutes. 

According to Kicker, the 24-year-old complained of back pain after the game and was later diagnosed with a "muscle tear in the hip region."
Hertha's Twitter account confirmed the injury Tuesday, saying Brooks will be out "for the time being."
Brooks has made 22 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, all of them starts. 

With four matches left in the season Hertha is in fifth place in the Bundesliga, which would qualify the team for next season's Europa League.
