A petrol tanker collision has killed at least 24 tourist with 9 injured in Southern Mexico on Thursday
The collision happened between the petrol tanker and a bus carrying tourists from the town of Morelia in Michoacan, says secretary of the Guerrero Civil Protection service, Marco Cesar Mayarea.
The driver of the tanker died on the spot as the tanker sparked into an explosion on a highway in Guerrero state, Mexico.
The tourist were heading for a to the beach district of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo in Guerrero when the terrible incident occurred The survivors recounting the incident said, they felt a heavy impact in the back of the tour bus before the explosion.
Only a handful of them were able to escape unhurt as the vehicle caught flames.
The injured are undergoing treatment at a Michoacan hospital.
