Xiao Jianhua, Chinese billionaire kidnapped from luxury hotel

Investigations is currently underway by the Hong Kong police who have confirmed  the disappearance of a Chinese billionaire and businessman Xiao Jianhua, 46.
Xiao who is also a Canadian citizen was reported missing on Friday.

It it alleged he was kidnapped from the Four Seasons hotel where he was lodging in Hong Kong and transported to mainland China.

Chinese Police in a statement said, 'we are still investigating and have reached out to the mainland authorities concerned'.

Xiao, one of China's richest men has the Tomorrow Group under his chain of assets. Tomorrow Group is a massive holding company with stakes in banks, insurers and property developers.  

Xiao's net worth runs into $6 billion.
