Pedro Almodovar revealed as 70th Cannes Film Festival's new jury president

Pedro is one of Spain’s most celebrated  movie directors of all time.

Pedro is also known to have aid launch the Hollywood career of actors, Antonio Banderas, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.

The 70th Cannes film festival will kick of on May 17 to 28, 2017.
