Mariah Carey wowed fans on the second night of the three-day Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on Thursday night.
Fans witnessed the singer perform a string of old and new numbers in a charming session that concluded with her chart-topping song "Hero". Her set included hits such as "We Belong Together" and "Always be my Baby" and her new song "I Don't". The hitmaker, who wore a sparkling eye-catching gown by LaBourjoisie, paid tribute to the late George Michael with a poignant version of "One More Try".
Earlier in the evening, the multi-talented, visually challenged singer Raul Midon enthralled fans with his one-man band show.
The guitarist-singer-percussionist who turns a guitar into an orchestra, and his voice into a trumpet, won the' heart of fans with an amazing show. With a voice that has a blend of Steve Wonder-Al Jarreau, Midon belted out jazzy numbers with a Latin feel.
The New York-based Midon has collaborated with such greats as Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder, along with contributing to recordings by Jason Mraz, Queen Latifah and Snoop Dogg.
The event also featured two secondary stages featuring the Anghami Sessions that showcases local and regional talents like Blu Fiefer and Mougleta.
