Brazilian plane crush survivors pays emotional tribute to deceased team mates

For the first time in months, the three survivors of the horrific plane crush that killed players and team members of Brazilian football side Chapecoense made their return to the pitch.


The new team includes players on loan and transfer from other clubs. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Goalkeeper Jackson Follmann, defender Neto and Alan Ruschel winger joined 20,000 football fans at the Arena Conda Staduim to watch their new team play against Palmeiras for the first time after the heartbreaking incident.
The three survivors payed an emotional tribute to their deceased pals by lifting the Copa Sudamericana trophy which was presented to them.

RIP to the deceased players.
